2019 was a pretty awesome year for us when it came to travel hacking. We were able to spend time in some incredible places for not a lot of money at all. Since we are coming into the season of giving, it seems like an appropriate time to talk about purchasing gifts. Gift giving is a fact of life. I think a well-timed gift is a great way to show somebody that you’re thinking of them.

I’m going to take you on a walk through what the application of this looks like in our life. I know from first hand experience that reading about this and getting excited is easy, but putting it into practice is scary as hell. I’m hoping that walking you through our process will take the scary out of it. Let’s get started.

Traveling can be costly or even seem impossible, especially when you’re digging out of debt. Jessie and I both dreamed of traveling once we were out from under the burden of our debt. We talked about it often during our debt free journey. The places we’d go. The things we’d do. We always refer to it as “stampin the passport”.
Josh and I have always balanced this fine line of wanting to be healthy (going to the gym and eating right) and not wanting to spend money.
People as a whole have developed high expectations ourselves and everyone around us. But sometimes when the expected happens, why does it catch us by surprise? Shouldn’t we be prepared for it?
